J.J. Arcega-Whiteside Goes On Injured Reserve
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (finger), who is undergoing surgery on his finger, was placed on Injured Reserve on Monday, ending his season. Arcega-Whiteside played his most offensive snaps (57%) of the season in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Dallas Cowboys last Saturday with the Eagles resting most of their starters. He responded with no catches on a season-high three targets. In 16 games, the 25-year-old caught just two passes on five targets for 36 yards. Arcega-Whiteside has been an afterthought in the Eagles offense in his three years with the team, catching a combined 16 passes for 290 yards and one touchdown on 35 targets in 40 games.
