3 years agoDallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said that running back Tony Pollard (foot) will be ready for the wild-card game against the San Francisco 49ers this weekend. "Absolutely. He'll be ready to roll," Jones said. Pollard was held out of the Week 18 regular season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles last Saturday as a precaution. The 24-year-old tore the plantar fascia in his foot in Week 13 but only ended up missing one game. In the three games after he returned, Pollard had 23 rushing attempts for 117 yards (5.09 yards per carry) and caught eight of 11 targets for 78 yards, and he didn't appear to be compromised physically.
