3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (thumb) will be limited in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Garoppolo missed Week 17 with a torn ligament in his right thumb, but he returned in the must-win Week 18 regular season contest and put forth a gutsy performance in the overtime win against the Los Angeles Rams. He managed to go 23-for-32 for 316 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Garoppolo will continue managing his thumb injury in the playoffs and will face another tough task in the improved Cowboys defense on the road on Sunday afternoon.
