Mike Evans Still Managing Hamstring Injury
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receivers Mike Evans (hamstring), Breshad Perriman (hip) and Justin Watson (quadriceps) were limited practice participants on Wednesday. Evans tweaked his hamstring in Week 15 and missed Week 16, but he returned in Week 17 and caught 10 of his 14 targets for 136 yards and three touchdowns in two games to close out the regular season. With Chris Godwin (knee) done for the year and Cyril Grayson (hamstring) unlikely to play this weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles, Evans will be quarterback Tom Brady's unquestioned top receiving target. Evans finished the season with 74 catches on 114 targets for 1,035 yards (his eighth straight season with 1,000 yards) and a career-high 14 touchdowns in 16 games. His high floor and expected target share make him the sixth-most expensive WR at DraftKings ($7,000) for wild-card weekend.
