Mike Evans Practices In Full Thursday
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) put in a full practice session on Thursday after he was limited on Wednesday. Evans should be fine to play in Sunday's wild-card game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He should be heavily targeted by quarterback Tom Brady with Antonio Brown no longer around, Chris Godwin (knee) done for the year and Cyril Grayson (hamstring) not expected to play, but the Eagles defense allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to WRs this year and held Evans to just two catches for 27 yards back in Week 6. Evans' career-high 14 TDs and the fact that he's Brady's go-to target in the red zone help justify him as a top-five fantasy wideout in the wild-card round, but if Evans doesn't score, he'll be a bust at his $7,000 price tag at DraftKings (fifth-highest at his position).
