Steelers Not Planning On JuJu Smith-Schuster Playing
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (shoulder) is healthy enough to play and the team is hoping that he can suit up on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, but they aren't planning on it happening right now, according to sources. The Steelers designated Smith-Schuster to return from Injured Reserve on Thursday, but the team wants to wait to determine his status for the wild-card game. The 25-year-old hasn't played since Week 5 after having surgery on his right shoulder, and while there's a small chance that he's activated and plays, it's unlikely to happen. And even if he is active against the Chiefs, fantasy managers should expect him to have his snaps limited, which would make him one to avoid in DFS and any other playoff formats.
