BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 30% of leagues
ANALYSIS: As is the case with tons of vets, once they get stuck in rebuilding programs and barely used in favor of developing youngsters, one tends to forget about how great they are and all of the goodies they contribute when on the court. Enter Eric Gordon, he of the 312 games as a Rocket starting less than half of them. Ugh.
Gordon before Houston: 95% games started, 34 MPG, and an average 16-2-3-1 line. Gordon in Houston: 49% games started, 30 MPG, 16-2-2. Yes, that's pretty much the same average production, on four fewer minutes of playing time, stuck in the second unit most of the time. Can't hate anything about that, folks. Gordon's 2022 season, at age-33, is seeing Eric G put up nightly 15-2-3 lines on par with his career averages. The Rockets are dangling Gordon around the L, and it shows: 26 starts in a row for Eric in Houston and still going. In that span of games (from Nov. 27 included on) Gordon has been good for an even better 16-1-4 line while starting at both the point and the wing. Such is Eric G.
Looking at a most recent sample of games (last month, 13 games played) Gordon has put up double-digit points in 12 of those 13 matches, he's been able to sustain a masterful 56% shooting from the field (on 9+ FGA per game) and has contributed 1.5+ RPG, 3.5+ APG, and almost a stock per game. If you're hurting for shooting percentages (at all three levels, as the splits are at a marvelous 50/45/73), solid assists, and an absolute rash of points/triples, Gordon is your man. No matter if he stays or if he gets traded, he will keep producing as he's done for 13 years now.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
