Dolphins Chances Of Acquiring Deshaun Watson Are Diminished
3 years agoWith head coach Brian Flores now out, the chances of the Miami Dolphins pursuing or acquiring Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson are greatly diminished, if not gone, according to sources. Flores had an interest in exploring a Watson deal, but others in the organization, including owner Stephen Ross, did not. Even though Miami missed the playoffs in 2021, the organization believes in first-round quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and he will be the starter in 2022, barring unforeseen circumstances. Watson requested a trade out of Houston in the offseason and is facing over 20 allegations of sexual misconduct or assault from women hired to perform massages. As a result, Watson didn't play at all in 2021. If/when Watson is back on the field in 2022, the three-time Pro Bowler will be highly coveted in fantasy football.
