3 years agoThe Kansas City Royals announced Monday in a tweet that the team signed right-handed relief pitcher Colten Brewer to a minor league deal. Brewer has appeared in 81 games in the Majors since the 2018 season. He made his debut with the San Diego Padres and has pitched for the Boston Red Sox in each of the last three campaigns. Overall, the 29-year-old owns a 5.04 ERA and a 4.99 FIP with 88 strikeouts and 58 walks allowed in those 91 innings. He allowed four hits, four earned runs, and three walks in his only Major League inning in 2021. Brewer will give Kansas City some additional bullpen depth.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
