3 years agoNew York Giants owner John Mara said that the team's medical staff has every confidence that quarterback Daniel Jones' neck won't be an issue moving forward. Mara and new head coach Brian Daboll also believe in Jones as the guy under center for the Giants, but it remains to be seen if they'll pick up his fifth-year option for the 2023 season. The 24-year-old played in only 11 games due to his injury in his third NFL season, going 232-for-361 (career-high 64.3 completion percentage) for 2,428 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Consistent coaching staff changes have held Jones' development back, but he has the weapons around him to succeed in New York if he's healthy in 2022. After all, he threw for over 3,000 yards with 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 13 games in his rookie year. Jones will be a QB2 with upside in fantasy drafts this fall.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
