3 years agoFormer Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Justin Watson signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday, according to a source. Watson's 2021 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was plagued by injury. The 25-year-old had surgery on his knee in July and wasn't activated until the end of December. In his lone game played in Week 16, Watson played only 19 special teams snaps and suffered a quadriceps injury that ended his season. A fifth-round pick in 2018, Watson has 23 catches on 40 targets for 258 yards and two touchdowns in his four NFL seasons, all with the Buccaneers.
