Packers Want Aaron Rodgers To Return
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers president Mark Murphy said that the entire organization wants quarterback Aaron Rodgers to return in 2022 after the team's disappointing loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. "A key factor will be whether Aaron Rodgers comes back for the 2022 season. Matt, Brian, executive vice president/director of football operations Russ Ball and I are all in agreement that we want Aaron to come back. He is likely to win his fourth league MVP, is the unquestioned leader of our team and is still playing at a high level at 38," Murphy said. Rodgers has one year remaining on his contract, but he may want out of Green Bay, especially after the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach left for other teams. He's likely to win another MVP after throwing for 4,115 yards, 37 touchdowns and four interceptions in the regular season, and he should be a strong QB1 choice in fantasy wherever he's playing in 2022.
