3 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has hit the free-agent market, and the organization hasn't jumped on extending their superstar slugger. To be fair, there are not any MLB signings allowed while the new CBA is being discussed. Regardless, it sounds like the New York Yankees are going to take a run at Freeman this offseason. They don't exactly need someone at first base, but a bat like Freeman cannot be ignored. He's going to be a top-tier fantasy option no matter where he ends up signing this offseason. However, he would make the Yankees lineup even more dangerous, assuming he does decide to sign there.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
