3 years agoWilliam Byron qualified 11th on Saturday night with a time of 13.973 seconds. He was one of only 12 cars to post a sub-14 second lap in the evening session. The No. 24 Chevy was in the middle of the pack during practice so maybe Byron is figuring out the track a bit better. Again, it is hard to gauge some things but the Hendrick Motorsports Racing cars looked pretty good on Saturday. They qualified 7th, 8th, 11th, and 14th but seemed all left a little something in the tank for the heats and race on Sunday. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
