3 years agoMichael McDowell put himself in a decent position on Sunday with a 12th-place qualifying result on Saturday. He will be the third car coming out for Heat 4. That will give him the luxury of seeing others on the track and how they handle the 25-lap run. McDowell can be a bit of a risk on short tracks and in narrow spaces. The No. 34 car has a propensity to crash in these situations or bump into another car. How he handles the 25-lap heat may have some implications on the longer 150-lap race.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
