Mike McDaniel Agrees To Become Dolphins Head Coach
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel has agreed to be the new head coach of the Dolphins. The 38-year-old spent the last five seasons with the Niners, serving as the run game coordinator before spending his final year in his most recent position. He will certainly have his work cut out for him as he will be tasked with turning around a team that finished the 2021-22 campaign with a 9-8 record while having one of the worst offenses in the league. Undoubtedly, McDaniel's priority will be the development of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, with the former Alabama signal-caller failing to impress during his first two seasons in the league.
