Joe Judge To Join Patriots As Offensive Assistant
3 years agoThe New England Patriots are working to hire former New York Giants head coach Joe Judge as an offensive assistant on Tuesday, according to a source with knowledge of the talks. Judge previously worked with the Patriots for eight seasons from 2012-19, the last five years as the special teams coordinator. He added the title of wide receivers coach in 2019. Judge's exact role remains to be seen, but he'll be looking to rehab his image after two rough seasons in New York in which he went 10-23 as the head coach. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Patriots might not hire an offensive coordinator after Josh McDaniel left to become the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.
