3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to hire former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter as their new passing-game coordinator under head coach Doug Pederson, according to a source. Cooter has worked with the likes of Peyton Manning and Matthew Stafford, and now he'll have a chance to get his hands on last year's No. 1 overall pick in Trevor Lawrence. The 37-year-old was a behind-the-scenes consultant for Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni last year. Cooter was the Lions quarterbacks coach in 2014 before being promoted to offensive coordinator in 2015.
