3 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah (knee) missed practice again on Wednesday, but head coach Zac Taylor remains optimistic that he'll have a chance to suit up in the Super Bowl this Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Uzomah missed all of last week's practices after spraining his MCL in the AFC Championship win over the Kansas City Chiefs, but he did some rehab work over the weekend and said on Monday that he won't miss the biggest game of his life. The 29-year-old will need to practice either Thursday or Friday to have a shot at playing, and the Bengals could really use him, as he caught 13 of 14 targets for 135 yards and a touchdown in the team's first two playoff games. If Uzomah is limited or out on Sunday, Drew Sample will have an increased role as the starting tight end for Cincy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
