3 years agoKansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is expected to return to the Chiefs in the same role after not getting the New Orleans Saints head-coaching position. It's possible that he'll sign another one-year deal, with the hope that he'll become a head coach for the 2023 season. "Everyone wants him to stay," one source said of Bieniemy. He's been a huge factor in quarterback Patrick Mahomes' development early in his career. It's a bit of a head-scratcher that Bieniemy hasn't gotten a head-coaching job at this point, but if he does return to Kansas City for another season, it'll only be more good news for Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs offense heading into the 2022 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
