3 years agoThe Denver Broncos are expected to hire long-time defensive coordinator Dom Capers as a senior defensive assistant to help expected defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, according to a source. Capers has been a defensive coordinator for four different teams and will bring a wealth of experience for Evero, who will be a first-time defensive coordinator. The veteran coach was a head coach for the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans and served as the Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator from 2009-17. Capers has bounced around as a senior defensive assistant with the Jaguars in 2019, the Vikings in 2020 and the Lions in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
