Andrew Whitworth Likely To Retire If Rams Win
3 years agoAsked if he'd retire if the Los Angeles Rams win the Super Bowl over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, left tackle Andrew Whitworth said, "What an unreal way to walk off. I don't think there's anything else I would have to do." The 40-year-old tackle missed the Divisional Round win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a knee injury and missed practice last week with a quadriceps injury, but he was able to practice in full this week and was removed from the final injury report for the Super Bowl. The four-time Pro Bowler will be protecting quarterback Matthew Stafford's blind side in the big game this weekend and will be facing his old team in the Bengals. Whitworth spent the first 11 years of his career in Cincinnati.
