3 years agoRiding into UFC 271 on Saturday on a five-fight winning streak with a chance to earn a title shot, Derek Brunson had that streak come to a screeching halt. With 31 seconds to go in the second round, the contest was called to an end after Jared Cannonier earned a TKO stoppage. In 9:29 of total action, Brunson tallied 43 significant strikes but was able to land only three of his 13 attempted takedowns, which could have greatly shifted the tide of the contest.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
