Matthew Stafford Leads Rams To Super Bowl Win
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford went 26-for-40 for 283 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in the 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Rams in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. Stafford put together an excellent game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter and relied mostly on Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp with Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) not returning after suffering an injury in the first half. Stafford finished the regular season with a career-high 4,886 passing yards and a career-high-tying 41 touchdowns, but he also led the league with 17 interceptions. As long as he has Kupp to throw to, he should be in the QB1 mix moving forward, but it will be interesting to see how the Rams offense adjusts if Beckham leaves in free agency.
