Van Jefferson Has Only 23 Yards In Super Bowl
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson was pretty quiet in the 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. Even with Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) not playing at all in the second half, Jefferson recorded four catches on eight targets for only 23 receiving yards. His eight targets were second only to MVP Cooper Kupp, but Jefferson was unable to get anything going down the field for the Rams. The 25-year-old saw significant growth in his second pro season, however, catching 50 of his 89 targets for 802 yards and six touchdowns in 17 regular season games. He served as the Rams No. 2 pass-catcher for a bit after Robert Woods' season-ending injury, and Jefferson will likely remain a boom/bust WR4/flex for fantasy managers next season.
