3 years agoMiami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is being investigated by the NFL after former head coach Brian Flores alleged in a lawsuit that Ross offered him money to lose games. If the league finds that Ross offered Flores $100,000 for each loss during the 2019 season, the discipline could include Ross losing the team by a vote of fellow owners, according to sources. "I do believe that clubs do have the authority to remove an owner from the league," commissioner Roger Goodell said last Wednesday. Ross has adamantly denied that he offered Flores money for each loss in an effort to secure the No. 1 pick of the 2020 draft.
