Leonard Fournette Expected To Test The Open Market
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers impending free-agent running back Leonard Fournette is expected to test the open market when free agency begins next month, according to sources. The Bucs could have a vastly different roster in 2022, especially since quarterback Tom Brady has retired, at least for now. Fournette missed four games late in the season due to injury, but he was very productive for fantasy managers when he was healthy, gaining 812 yards on the ground and eight touchdowns on 180 carries, while adding 69 receptions (third-most in the NFL) on 84 targets for 454 yards and two more TDs in the passing game. If the 27-year-old re-signs with the Bucs, his ceiling certainly won't be as high with Brady no longer under center.
