Aaron Judge's Yankees Tenure Could Be Over Soon
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge hinted on the latest R2C2 podcast with Ryan Ruocco and CC Sabathia that his tenure with the team could be over if he doesn't sign a contract extension before the start of the 2022 season. Judge broke out in his rookie season in 2017 and has been one of the best all-around players in baseball since then, when he's been healthy. The 29-year-old stayed healthy in 2021 and played in 148 games, hitting 39 home runs while posting a .916 OPS. Judge has an impressive .940 OPS in his career and an .840 OPS in the playoffs. He's entering his final year of arbitration and can become a free agent next offseason. The three-time All-Star is currently ranked as RotoBaller's No. 11 fantasy outfielder, and he'll come off the board in the early rounds of drafts for his elite power skills.
