3 years agoNew Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore is a prime restructure candidate this offseason after signing an extension last year that bumped his salary cap figure to $27.45 million in 2022. He also has $9 million in base salary and a $15 million roster bonus. The 25-year-old's roster bonus can be converted into a signing bonus spread over five years, which will add $3 million in future salary cap but take $12 million off the books this year. Lattimore's base salary can also be converted into a signing bonus and spread out. The former first-rounder is a valuable member of the team's secondary after making his third straight Pro Bowl (and fourth overall) in 2021. Lattimore finished with 68 tackles (55 solo), three interceptions, 19 passes defensed and one fumble recovery in 16 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
