Mookie Betts Looking To Bounce Back In 2022
3 years agoDespite making his fifth All-Star team in 2021, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts had a disappointing season by his standards, mainly due to injury. But even in 122 games played, Betts was productive, slashing .264/.367/.487 with 23 home runs, 58 RBI, 10 stolen bases and 93 runs scored in 550 plate appearances. The hip injury that Betts dealt with drastically affected his ability on the base paths and likely contributed to his lowered batting average. The 29-year-old remained strong in power metrics, his ability to make contact and his plate discipline, though, so with better health in 2022, Betts could easily bounce back as an elite fantasy contributor.
