3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes defenseman Tony DeAngelo (upper body) is listed as day-to-day after being injured in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers, CBS Sports reported Wednesday. In a corresponding move, Carolina recalled defenseman Jalen Chatfield from the AHL, according to Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer. While the Hurricanes have won three straight games, they won't want to be without DeAngelo for an extended period of time given his offensive contributions at both even strength (40 points total) as well as on the man advantage (16 power-play points). The exact details of the injury have not been released and Carolina doesn't play again until Friday, so managers should be on the lookout for updates before setting their rosters.--Chelena Goldman
