Landon Collins Could Be A Cut Candidate
3 years agoWashington Commanders safety Landon Collins had a 110.6 passer rating allowed in coverage last season, which ranked 36th out of 48 safeties that were targeted at least 30 times, according to Pro Football Focus. Collins has the second-highest salary cap hit ($16.9 million) among NFL safeties, so he's a candidate to be cut or have his contract restructured this offseason. On top of his performance, the 28-year-old finished the season on Injured Reserve due to a foot injury. In 13 games played, Collins recorded 81 tackles (51 solo), seven tackles for loss, two interceptions, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and three sacks for Washington. He has a dead-cap number of $9.6 million if he's released.
