3 years agoThe drama between the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Kyler Murray has subsided following Instagram cleanses and reports of Murray's immaturity. NFL Network's Jane Slater reported that "everything is copacetic" between the Cardinals and Murray, and the two sides are now working to either exercise his fifth-year team option or agree to a long-term deal. Any disharmony between the team and Murray seems to have improved. The largest example of Murray's lack of leadership and/or maturity was that he didn't finish out the wild-card loss to the Los Angeles Rams on the field. Murray didn't play well in his first playoff game, but the former No. 1 overall pick posted his third straight season to begin his career with 3,700-plus passing yards and 24 or more total touchdowns.
