3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes defenseman Tony DeAngelo (upper body) is expected to be out for one month, NHL.com reported. The 26-year-old blueliner left during the second period of Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers and was previously considered day-to-day. DeAngelo leads the Hurricanes with a plus-19 rating and is tied for third with forward Teuvo Teravainen with 40 points (nine goals, 31 assists), in addition to scoring 16 power-play points this season. While his absence will leave a hole on fantasy rosters, managers will have to look to other defensemen with DeAngelo sidelined for an unspecified period of time.--Chelena Goldman
