3 years agoIn Saturday night's throwback to 80s hockey, left winger Michael Bunting led the way for the Toronto Maple Leafs with five points. The Leafs scored 10 en route to a 10-7 victory over the Detroit Red Wings. He is currently second in points among all rookies with 40, behind only Lucas Raymond (42) of the Red Wings. As goaltending around the league falters, Bunting has been one of many players to pick up the tab offensively. A relatively unknown 26-year-old rookie coming into the season, Bunting has burst onto the scene to earn his way onto the Leafs top line.
