Kyler Murray Wants To Remain Cardinals Quarterback
3 years agoIn a statement from agent Erik Burkhardt, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray makes it clear that he wants to remain as the team's quarterback as long as the Cardinals are willing to make his long-term contract extension a priority. Arizona wasn't happy with the way Murray handled the embarrassing loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the wild-card round of the playoffs, leading to Murray scrubbing his social media accounts of all references to the team. The two sides have apparently moved on, though, and Murray should remain in the desert long term. Despite missing four games due to an ankle sprain, the 24-year-old signal-caller finished as the No. 11 fantasy QB with 3,787 yards, 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Regardless of his rough finish in the postseason, Murray should be a top-five fantasy QB in 2022.
