3 years agoGreen Bay Packers impending free-agent cornerback Rasul Douglas was one of the NFL's breakout stars last year, but Spotrac projects him to earn $9 million per year on his next deal, and the Packers probably can't afford that given their salary cap situation. Even if Douglas walks in free agency, Green Bay should be fine at outside cornerback with Jaire Alexander and Eric Stokes for the foreseeable future. Douglas said it wouldn't cost much more than he made last season (less than $1 million) to keep him, but his agent probably thinks otherwise. The 27-year-old posted 57 tackles (52 solo), five interceptions (two for touchdowns), 13 passes defensed and one forced fumble in 12 regular season games (nine starts) in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
