No Workouts At The Combine For Derek Stingley Jr.
3 years agoLouisiana State cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. (foot), who could be the top cornerback prospect in this year's draft, will wait until his Pro Day on April 6 to work out, according to a source. Stingley underwent surgery for a Lisfranc injury during the season and is almost 100% healthy. However, he's not quite there yet and will not work out at the NFL combine this week. As long as the 20-year-old looks healthy enough at his Pro Day, his draft stock shouldn't suffer at all. Stingley managed to play in just three games in his junior year at LSU because of his left foot injury. In his freshman year, Stingley had six interceptions and recorded 31 tackles in 15 games played.
