3 years agoMontreal Canadiens defenseman Joel Edmundson practiced in full for the first time on Monday as he gets closer to making his season debut, NHL.com reported. The 28-year-old has not played since Game 5 of last season's Stanley Cup Final because of a back injury and an exact return date has not been determined yet. Edmundson tallied 13 points (3 goals, 10 assists) and a plus-28 rating for the Habs during the truncated 2021 season. With no exact return date in sight and Montreal more than 30 points out of the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, managers shouldn't waste time worrying about when Edmundson will return to the ice.--Chelena Goldman
