Browns Hope To Re-Sign Jadeveon Clowney
3 years agoThe Cleveland Browns are hoping to re-sign pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney, who had nine sacks in just 14 games last year. However, Clowney typically operates on his own timetable, and it's anyone's guess as to where he'll wind up in 2022. Given his nine-sack season, he'll likely command a deal in the double-digit millions. Pro Football Focus estimates his value at one year and $15 million, including $12 million guaranteed. The Browns would love to have Clowney back, and they'll also need to find a replacement for No. 3 edge rusher Takkarist McKinley, who is coming off surgery for a torn Achilles tendon. McKinley is also a free agent.
