Dak Prescott Has Shoulder Surgery
3 years agoDallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said that quarterback Dak Prescott (shoulder) had surgery on his left shoulder at the start of the offseason. However, McCarthy has "no concern" about Prescott's availability for offseason workouts. Prescott was shut down in training camp last summer due to a shoulder strain, but it never affected him during the regular season or playoffs. In his 16 starts in 2021, Prescott completed 68.8% of his passes for 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while guiding the Cowboys to 11 wins. Dallas' receiving corps could look quite different next season with several of their starters set for free agency, including Amari Cooper, but when healthy, Prescott has proven to be a high-end QB1 for fantasy managers.
