Colts Not Giving Up On Parris Campbell
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard said that he's "not quitting on Parris Campbell." "But does it mean we're going to sit here and count on him to be our No. 2 or 3 right away? No. We will add competition to the position." Campbell managed to play just six games in 2021 and needed foot surgery in the middle of the season. In three seasons in Indy, he has played in only 15 games (eight starts) due to injuries, and he finished last year with 10 receptions on 20 targets for 162 yards and one touchdown. The Colts have questions at quarterback, but T.Y. Hilton and Zach Pascal are impending free agents, so Campbell could have a significant role in 2022 if Hilton and Pascal don't return and he can stay on the field.
