3 years agoNew Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels said that quarterback Derek Carr will "absolutely" be the team's starting quarterback in Week 1 of the 2022 season. Carr doesn't appear to be available on the trade market this offseason after throwing for a career-high 4,804 passing yards with 23 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 17 games in 2021. The 30-year-old has improved in recent seasons and could become even more efficient with McDaniels, a bright offensive mind, joining his side. Nobody should be content with Carr as their starting QB1 in shallow fantasy leagues, but he could be a very nice backup option that should come at a relatively cheap price in drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
