3 years agoSigns have been pointing towards Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers playing for the team in 2022. Head coach Matt LaFleur said that Rodgers played a "significant role" in the Packers hiring old quarterbacks coach Tom Clements. Relations between Rodgers and the front office have been much better this offseason after general manager Brian Gutekunst involved the QB more in decisions that directly affected his job. The Athletic's Matt Schneidman said it seems to be the worst-kept secret at this week's NFL combine that Rodgers isn't going anywhere. It feels that the time is coming soon for Rodgers to sign an extension with Green Bay that will extend him several more seasons beyond the one left on his current deal.
