3 years agoThe Washington Commanders offered multiple first-round draft picks for Seattle Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson, but the Seahawks turned them down. Earlier in the week, head coach Pete Carroll said the team had no intentions of trading Wilson. Washington, meanwhile, has made it a priority to upgrade at the QB position this offseason, and they've been making calls throughout the league in hopes of striking a deal. The Commanders have the No. 11 overall pick in this year's draft, but they'd prefer to trade for an established signal-caller than draft a developmental prospect in this year's weak class. The 33-year-old Wilson recently said he's happy in Seattle when asked if he'd consider a trade to the East Coast.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
