3 years agoAtlanta Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot and head coach Arthur Smith didn't have an update to give on wide receiver Calvin Ridley's future in Atlanta at the NFL scouting combine this week. The Falcons picked up Ridley's fifth-year option in 2021, but he played in only five games last season while dealing with a personal matter. Atlanta could receive quite a bit if they traded Ridley to another team this offseason, but Ridley would also likely require a new deal. It's an extremely complicated situation surrounding the 27-year-old, but the Falcons would welcome him back with open arms if he wanted to remain in Atlanta. The 2018 first-round pick could be a difference-maker at a cheap cost in fantasy in 2022 (if he plays) after going for 1,374 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 90 receptions in 2020.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
