Eagles Remain Confident In Jalen Hurts
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni reiterated the team's confidence in quarterback Jalen Hurts and expressed excitement to see how he develops in 2022 after leading the Eagles to the playoffs in his first full year as the starting QB. "He led us to the playoffs and obviously we want to go further than that and we're really confident that Jalen is the guy that can help us do that," Sirianni said. Hurts has the arm strength to make all the throws and has the ability to create with his legs, and the Eagles are hoping his decision-making and accuracy will improve with more experience. Hurts is making good progress in his recovery from offseason ankle surgery, and Roseman said the team is "really optimistic about his readiness for the offseason program."
