Amari Cooper Hasn't Drawn Much Interest
3 years agoNFL teams know that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is available in a trade, but there hasn't been any interest in his salary point. With plenty of quality receiving options available in free agency and through the draft, the Cowboys may not get many hits on the trade market for the 27-year-old. If Dallas doesn't trade him, they are expected to release him to avoid paying Cooper $20 million in 2022. The Cowboys plan to use the savings on Cooper to re-sign both Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson, who took a big step last season. Cooper, a four-time Pro Bowler with 1,000-yard seasons in five of his seven seasons, had 68 receptions (104 targets) for 865 yards and eight touchdowns in 15 regular season games in 2021. His 2022 fantasy value will depend entirely on where he winds up.
