3 years agoLike many NFL teams, the Carolina Panthers were impressed with Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder's 4.52-second 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine last week, but they also like his makeup and professionalism. The Panthers won't necessarily take Ridder with the sixth overall pick in next month's draft, but Ridder is worth keeping an eye on during the pre-draft process. The 22-year-old could be rising up draft boards after his combine performance, but NFL teams will still likely be cautious when considering a signal-caller in the first round of this year's draft.
