Packers To Trade Jordan Love?
3 years agoThe Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Tom Silverstein thinks the Green Bay Packers have no choice now but to trade quarterback Jordan Love after signing Aaron Rodgers to a four-year, $200 million extension on Tuesday. The draft isn't strong at the QB position and the free-agent market is even worse. The Packers surprisingly took Love in the first round of the 2020 draft as the eventual successor to Rodgers, but he may not get that chance for another four years, and he has only two years left on his current deal. Love didn't see any action in his rookie year and played in parts of six games (one start) in 2021, throwing for 411 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions on 62 attempts. The 23-year-old could be intriguing for fantasy purposes, but only if he's dealt to a team that is in need of a starting QB.
